Entry date: April 17th 10pm chilly breeze.
Personal demons stalk us all. They are insidious in their seductive ways…even the gray side of life. There, blurry in the shadows, lie the answers to all I wish to know. Some dark… some light - hence the gray.
The seedy side of life… that’s where we truly live… hoping for the unexpected. Even practicing speeches of indignant manor amidst waves of shallow judgment. If they only knew what was really behind these gray eyes. I see more and feel more than I ever cared to rationalize. “It’s a gift.” I’ve dared to joke about the 2 sides of that coin.
Recently, the Lord and Lady priests of the Greek God Dionysus, entertained me with grand spirits befitting a priestess of the God. Joy, laughter, merriment made. Fragrant magnolia blossoms sifted through the breeze, all of life was at ease.
While sipping the nectar of a peach blossom a sudden breeze scattered my house of cards… an updraft, twirling them just beyond reach. I watch with wonder as the cards mingle with another set… where will they come to rest…?
The gust was predicted weeks before my travel… I watched at first, from a distance. Now I breathe the fresh air of the thicket leaves. I am lost.
